In 1982 Arctic's snowmobile service parts and accessories business was sold to Certified Parts Corp. They were formally known as Fox Corp. They manufactured Fox Track snowmobiles from 62-74. They specialized in replacement parts for discontinued snowmobiles (Rupp, Chaparral, Alouette, Fox Track and Speedway). The sale included all Arctic Cat and Scorpion parts inventories together with all the related tooling equipment. Also included in the sale were the Arctic Cat, Scorpion and Arcticwear trademarks and manufacturing rights. Aktiv in Sweden leased the rights from Certified Parts Corp. to produce Panther sleds from 1982 until Arctic bought the rights back from CPC in 1986. Arctco began distributing to Scandinavia again for the 87 season.
